The overall aim of the Quick-Impact Actions (QIAS) is to provide urgent and strategic support to local actors working on youth political inclusion and participation, always upon request of the relevant EU Delegation. <br> <br>Based on the specific objectives determined in close cooperation with EUDs, the most appropriate local actor(s) are identified and selected to implement the QIAs. This is done either through a direct technical intervention or an action grant, awarded directly or through a restrictive call for proposals, depending on the urgency of the need, the political calendar, and the potential to generate positive changes in youth participation.)<br><br><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-dark-blue-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-83a4b0daf065b18bb0bbce72c16490d6\"><strong><strong>Background<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-dark-blue-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-5891d57a755bdc52beb48290ad29f38b\">The <strong>Bojaki Project<\/strong> is a youth-led initiative designed to combat youth voter apathy in Lesotho by facilitating voter registration and civic engagement among young people aged 18\u201335, particularly in remote and underserved regions. The project addresses challenges posed by the Independent Electoral Commission\u2019s (IEC) recent requirement for voter re-registration using National ID cards. Young people in remote areas face significant barriers, including limited access to ID services, geographic constraints, and misinformation about the voter registration process.
