professionnelle au sein du m\u00e9dia de service public b\u00e9ninois SRTB. Il a un int\u00e9r\u00eat pour les enjeux de gouvernance politique en Afrique et les innovations technologiques au service de la participation citoyenne. En 2015, Maurice Thantan fonde l\u2019Association des blogueurs du B\u00e9nin (AB-B\u00e9nin), qu\u2019il pr\u00e9sidera jusqu\u2019en 2019, en menant de nombreux projets citoyens ax\u00e9s sur la transparence, l\u2019e-gouvernement, la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 num\u00e9rique et la redevabilit\u00e9 publique. Son engagement l\u2019am\u00e8ne ensuite \u00e0 rejoindre AfricTivistes, le r\u00e9seau panafricain des blogueurs et web-activistes pour la d\u00e9mocratie. Parall\u00e8lement, il officie en tant que correspondant au B\u00e9nin du magazine panafricain Jeune Afrique.<br><br>Militant reconnu pour les donn\u00e9es ouvertes, Maurice est \u00e9galement un expert des Civic Tech, domaine dans lequel il con\u00e7oit et anime des formations sur l\u2019usage des technologies pour renforcer les liens entre gouvernants et gouvern\u00e9s.
