Its members are young beneficiaries from our activities, recruited for a one-year mandate to advise the management team, take part in the steering committees with the European Commission and occasionally represent the project in external events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dechen<\/strong> <strong>Rabgyal<\/strong> is invested and interested in social and political sciences, and serves as a member of the Youth Advisory Board of the WYDE Civic Engagement project in 2024\/2025. With countryside roots, formal education including stints in Spain and the United Kingdom opened Dechen\u2019s door to understanding public affairs beyond his native village of 11 households. Rural upbringing vis-\u00e0-vis educational and professional experiences place Dechen in a position to situate Bhutan\u2019s public policy challenges such as rural-urban migration, regional inequality, and inter-generational value differences in Bhutan\u2019s development trajectory.
