The WYDE Civic Engagement<\/strong> Youth Advisory Board<\/strong> is the highest youth engagement body in the project. Its members are young beneficiaries from our activities, recruited for a one-year mandate to advise the management team, take part in the steering committees with the European Commission and occasionally represent the project in external events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Daisi Matthew Omokungbe (DMO)<\/strong><\/a>, 35, is the Founder and Executive Director of PROMAD<\/a> and a member of the Youth Advisory Board of the WYDE Civic Engagement project in 2024\/2025. He is an experienced social innovator and civic-tech leader, social accountability professional and project management consultant with over 12 years of work experience in private and development sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his work and leadership at PROMAD, he has led social accountability campaigns in more than 30 rural and underserved communities leveraging technology to promote democracy, track public projects, empower local stakeholders such as youth and women and advocate for accountable governance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Daisi has consulted for private companies, international organisations and government and has attracted grants to deepen accountability, youth participation, transparency, grassroots needs assessment, local engagements and prioritisation of public projects and policies in Nigeria using civic-tech solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Daisi is currently a master\u2019s student, he holds a bachelor\u2019s degree (Hons) in project management technology and a higher national diploma (HND) in electrical\/electronic engineering, and professional certifications. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Daisi who also founded DailyAgent<\/a> and DailyAgent Check<\/a>, is a fellow of the Legislative Mentorship Initiative (LMI)<\/a>, Civic Hive<\/a> and BudgIT<\/a>\u2019s Civic Tech Innovation Leadership Fellowship amongst others. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is passionate about deploying technology for nation-building, civic engagement, and evidence-based and resilient reforms that deliver improved services to the people.
