Bunisa Mamadalieva Saidillaevna was born in 1986 in Alamedin, Kyrgyzstan. In 2016 she graduated from the Academy of Law, Business and Education with a Bachelor of Economics degree with honours, and in 2019 she graduated from the International University. K.Sh. Toktomamatov with a Master of Economics degree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Between 2006 and 2015 Bunisa held various positions in an International Education Centre, and a law firm. In 2015, she decided to get involved in politics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the Zhogorku Kenesh elections, Bunisa worked at the central headquarters of the SDPK party, leading up to her party colleagues nominating her as a candidate for deputy to the local Kenesh in 2016. Her involvement with the Business Association in Jalal-Abad began that year, where she actively participated in events and attended seminars on financial literacy, business projects, and self-development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From August 2019 to 2021, she served as the only female entrepreneur on both the general and regional boards of the JIA Business Association. In January 2019, she completed meditation studies and joined the \u201cRepublican Community of Mediators\u201d and the \u201cNational Mediation Center\u201d of the Kyrgyz Republic, also contributing as a member of the NMC\u2019s Audit Commission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently, she serves on the Ethics Committee. She also served as a Business Advisor of the Enactus JAGU team and as a Mentor for the UNDP KR program under the regional project \u201cAid for Trade\u201d in Central Asia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bunisa has been recognised for her contributions to the socio-economic development of the city and her active involvement in the business community. She\u2019s conducted seminars on financial literacy, business planning, and motivation among young people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In March 2021, Bunisa was elected as the director of the Jalal-Abad branch of the National Mediation Center. Throughout her work as a mediator, she participated in coordinating a project on journalists training in Kyrgyzstan in 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The following month, Bunisa participated in elections as a candidate for deputy of the Jalal-Abad city Kesh (council). Her previous political experience helped her, and she was elected deputy chairman of the Jalal-Abad council. She served from May 2021 until September 2022. Currently, she is the Chairwoman of the Standing Commission on Social Issues of the Jalal-Abad city Kenesh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The WYDE Civic Engagement<\/strong> Network of Young Decision-Makers<\/a><\/strong> unites young leaders under 36 years old who are active in politics and decision-making roles, aiming to enhance youth political participation. Members, hailing from Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Caribbean, will collaborate with peers and Club de Madrid Members to shape global agendas through Policy Labs, fostering informed collective action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The WYDE Civic Engagement project <\/strong>is a component of the Women and Youth in Democracy Initiative (WYDE) by the European Commission. The project aims to empower youth voices, foster international cooperation, and address the gaps in evidence on youth political engagement. <\/strong>More info on the project can be found on EPD’s website<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n
