Augusta is a 24-year-old political communicator and writer who is enthusiastic about public policy, and she is well-known for her ability to navigate the complex political landscape and make it easily understandable. She is currently the Special Assistant to the Anambra State Governor on Investment and also serves as the Head of Strategic Communications for the Anambra State Investment Promotion and Protection Agency (ANSIPPA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In her role, Augusta develops strategies to boost private-sector investments and enhance the business environment in Anambra State. Over the past ten months, Augusta has significantly improved ANSIPPA\u2019s public image and secured over $500 million in investments. She played a role in the successful organization of the Anambra Investment Summit. Previously, Augusta was the Global Coordinator for the Peter Obi Support Network during the Nigeria 2023 elections and managed a network of over 500,000 members. Augusta is also the founder of the ANN Academy, teaching political knowledge to young leaders aged 9-16.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In her free time, she writes the \u201cPolitics through the Eyes of a Gen-Z\u201d which offers insights into Nigerian politics. Augusta also serves as the Southeast delegate for the Nigeria Youth Futures Fund (NYFF) and holds membership in various organisations including the International Association of Professional Writers and Editors and the Commonwealth Youth Peace Ambassador Network 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Augusta\u2019s versatile experiences highlight her ambition and impact in the politics and communications fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Youth Political Participation<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u00ab\u00a0Young women can be Personal Aides, Legislative Aides, Advisers, Assistants, Executives at different political parties, Political Communicators etc. These positions give you a front seat on how Nigerian politics work and will better prepare young women to contest elections if they eventually choose to do so.\u00a0\u00bb<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

The WYDE Civic Engagement<\/strong> Network of Young Decision-Makers<\/a><\/strong> unites young leaders under 36 years old who are active in politics and decision-making roles, aiming to enhance youth political participation. Members, hailing from Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Caribbean, will collaborate with peers and Club de Madrid Members to shape global agendas through Policy Labs, fostering informed collective action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The WYDE Civic Engagement project <\/strong>is a component of the Women and Youth in Democracy Initiative (WYDE) by the European Commission.
