Tarey Daouda Zakari is a seasoned communications, marketing and civic leadership professional, committed to youth, peace, democracy and digital development in Niger.
A former Head of Deployment Mission and Coordinator of UNICEF’s U-Report youth engagement program in Diffa, he has led initiatives to amplify the voice of young people and strengthen their civic participation in a complex security context.
A UNESCO-certified trainer in non-violent communication and the culture of peace, he works with young people, associations and organisations to promote living together, social cohesion and peaceful conflict management. He is also a trainer in the responsible use of social networks and freedom of expression.
Through his actions and training courses, he works to make Niger’s youth more aware, active and responsible, convinced that Niger’s development depends on enlightened citizenship and inclusive democratic participation.
