YDC Working Groups

The Youth Democracy Cohort Working Groups were created to provide a more tailored experience for our members. These groups provide spaces for members to engage with allies from their own region or on key themes, while maintaining a global perspective within the Cohort.
What are the YDC Working Groups?
The current Working Groups bring together member organisations from the same regions and are managed by dedicated Community Managers (CMs). These groups offer members the opportunity to engage directly with peers and leaders, enhancing their advocacy efforts and building an organic sense of community.
While the initial Working Groups are regional, the YDC team aims to expand, creating groups focused on themes like gender, digital rights, and shrinking civic space. Members interested in leading such groups are encouraged to contact the YDC team.
By joining these communities, members and/or YDC supporters will:
- Be the first to know about YDC’s activities, events, and funding opportunities related to their regions.
- Contribute to concrete regional advocacy efforts.
- Connect informally with others who share their commitment to advancing youth political participation.
