Kadiatou Konaté is a feminist activist and author of Les Mères de la Liberté, renowned for her commitment to girls’ and women’s rights in Africa.
Founder of Malaff Guinée and co-founder of the Club des Jeunes Filles Leaders de Guinée, she has been working for over ten years to reduce gender-based and sexual violence, child marriage and female genital mutilation. With her team, she has mobilised over a million euros from international partners to strengthen protection systems, support over 600 survivors of violence and raise awareness among thousands of people in communities.
A specialist in gender, human rights and inclusion, she helps NGOs, institutions, companies and individuals to implement transformative strategies. She recently joined Rio Tinto Simfer as a human rights consultant.
