Session highlights:
- Opening presentation by advocacy expert Andrew Songa (Regional Advisor – African Union Engagement for EPD) which will set the stage for active discussion on key strategies for impactful advocacy.
- YDC Summit for Democracy: Anne-Simone Badji and Santiago Barrail, policy officers from EPD, will share updates about YDC’s participation at the third Summit for Democracy.
- Reflection Groups: To create a collaborative atmosphere, webinar participants will have a chance to participate in proactive discussions with a special focus on designing strategies to campaign on the upcoming Summit and the Menu of Possible Commitments in participants’ home countries as ambassadors of the YDC.
The Youth Democracy Cohort webinar “#YouthInAction: Empowering Youth for Change” will be an interactive and empowering experience for all participants. By exchanging ideas and making a collaborative effort to drive advocacy forward, we can amplify our impact and create positive change in our communities and beyond.
