
The project Youth Engagement in Democratic Processes in Cameroon seeks to empower youth participation in Cameroon’s democratic processes by advocating for equitable internet access, the protection of digital rights, and responsible social media use—especially in conflict-affected regions—through digital advocacy, civic education and multi-stakeholder dialogue.
Activities
- Workshop on Digital Rights, Political Engagement, Community-based Advocacy, and Democratic Participation for youth leaders, CSOs, and government officials at the local level.
- #YouthVoiceNaPower Online Advocacy Campaign focusing on digital rights, youth political inclusion, and countering misinformation.
- National Youth Policy Advocacy Conference bringing together 40 stakeholders, including government, youth, and international partners
- Development and Launch of a Youth Policy Brief summarising key insights and containing advocacy recommendations.

At least 5,000 youth reached through the #YouthVoiceNaPower campaign

Formulation of a joint declaration on youth digital rights and inclusion

Development of a Youth Policy Brief distributed to local stakeholders and policy makers
