Wilé Sadio Diallo is a journalist and fact-checker specialising in verifying information and combating disinformation. She is a digital content creator committed to raising public awareness through social media. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from the Digital University of Senegal. Having graduated in journalism from the École Supérieure de Journalisme, des Métiers de l’Internet et de la Communication (E-jicom) in 2020, she began her career at Africa Check (in 2021) as an intern for seven months, where she learnt the basics of fact-checking. Since 2022, she has been producing her own fact-checking content in video format on her TikTok, Facebook and Linkedin accounts to make the fight against disinformation more accessible and tailored to young people’s digital habits.
