Elsa Rose Ndjoun Cheping is a communicator, humanitarian and human rights activist, driven by a deep passion for building just and inclusive societies. President and founder of the Son Empreinte association and national coordinator of the CitizenLab Cameroun Africtivist citizen action laboratory, two reference networks in the ecosystem of digital democracy in Africa, she devotes her energy to transforming universal ideals (democracy, equity, dignity) into concrete actions in the service of communities. Her career has been guided by the conviction that knowledge and civic engagement are essential levers for meeting the major challenges of our time. Convinced that critical thinking begins in childhood, she works at the intersection of digital technology, citizenship and education to equip young Africans for the shrinking civic space.
